Summary It’s not the best-looking pair of socks but Doc Socks gets the job done. I thought it looked weird because it doesn’t cover my toes and heel, but you can wear it under full socks. It’s comfortable to walk with and there were immediate improvements i.e. my feet don’t feel sore by the end of the day and I haven’t had cramps since I started wearing it. However, Doc Socks only comes in one size. If it’s already tightfitting on me (I’m a size 9), I’m not sure how comfortable or effective it will be for those with bigger feet. The material used seems to be stretchable enough but if it feels too restrictive then stop wearing it. As for how long you should keep Doc Socks on, it depends on your condition and physical activity. I personally wear mine from 8 to 9 hours and take them off when I get home. This may not work for others, especially those who have been put on bed rest. Most doctors advise their patients to wear compression socks at all times to keep blood from pooling in the feet and the muscles from getting weak. If you’re unsure, consult a doctor or physical therapist.
